Mommy and Me

A time for parent and child

This popular session is designed so parent and child can create painting projects together. The projects chosen for this series allow you to spend one-on-one time with your child in a creative and nurturing environment. Classes are $18 each and include pottery plus parent/child paint time.

Paint Me A Story Time

Wednesdays from 10-11am and 1-2pm

Bring in your child for story reading time, then watch as they let their imaginations go free and decorate a pottery piece with their own unique designs.

Toddler Party

We can also arrange to come to your pre-school or other location. After reading a story, the children can decorate a themed ceramics item. We take it back to our shop, add a clear glaze and fire it in our kiln. We'll arrange to deliver it back to your site for the kids to take how.

Art Adventures

Host an Art Adventure party, where every participant is the artist in residence! Whatever the theme you chose, we can plan an exciting and memorial time for any group!

Ice Cream Social Party

The children will decorate their own special ice cream dish. After we glaze and fire it in our kilns, have an ice cream social, where they eat out of their finished ceramic bowl. Don't forget the ice cream!

$15 per artist includes the bowl, colored glazes and supplies, final dipping and kiln firing, plus staff instruction.

Time for Tots

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am-2pm

Children under the age of 6 get to paint for the reduced studio fee of just $4. Why not get a group together from your pre-school or mom's group and let your little ones get artsy!

Appointments recommended for larger groups (6 or more artists).

School Projects

As a class project, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Our enthusiastic, well-trained staff will help you decide what's right for your particular needs. We can even travel to your classroom with supplies for the project. Call to set up time for your students now!

Studying Southwestern Culture...how about creating tiles with a Southwestern theme? Is your class studying Medieval England? You might re-create a family crest on goblets or mug. If studying Astronomy, have your students map out different constellations or planets on plates. Celebrate Spring by painting flower pots and planting seeds that will sprout flowers and decorate your classroom.

Handprint/Footprint Keepsake Projects

Make a special keepsake that will capture a piece of them from when they were small. Hurry, children grow quickly.

Priced by piece, plus standard studio fee.

Team & Youth Group Parties

Church groups, sports teams, Indian Guides/Princesses, YMCA - The kids will have a blast painting theme-related pieces you chose. They can even sign each other's artwork so they'll have something to remember their special friends or teammates by.

Youth Group special - $15 per artist, includes:

• 1 ceramics piece from our broad selection
  
• 1 hour of studio painting time

Reservations and a $25 deposit required. Not available on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only.

Scouting

Badge and Non-Badge Events

Whether you are earning a badge or just looking for a creative field trip, Expresso Yourself will engage your scouts in stimulating environment while promoting personal expression and creativity. We have lots of great ideas for projects!

Scout Rates: $4 per painter plus pottery items of your choice.

Please book 2 weeks in advance, along with a $25 deposit. Not available on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only.

Leader should be prepared to assist the troop; parents are discouraged from staying for the session (due to occupancy limitations!).
